Terms
Draft product/legal information. These pages do not make licensing, regulatory approval, insurance, bank-backing, or authority approval claims.
Working draft
These terms are a working product draft and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before production use.
Introduction
These terms govern access to the EziMoney app and services for preparing recipients, creating funding sessions, and sending supported transfers.
Eligibility
- You must meet the minimum age and legal capacity requirements that apply where you use the service.
- You must provide accurate information and keep it current.
- You must comply with laws that apply to your use of EziMoney.
Account registration and security
- You are responsible for protecting your credentials and any multifactor authentication methods available to you.
- Report unauthorised access or suspicious activity immediately.
- EziMoney may require additional checks before allowing sensitive account or transfer actions.
Identity verification and compliance checks
EziMoney may require identity, sanctions, fraud, AML/KYC, or other compliance checks where applicable. Service may be delayed, declined, or restricted when review is required.
Sending money
- Review the recipient, amount, currency, fees, exchange rate, funding source, and payout method before Confirm & Send.
- You are responsible for accurate recipient details.
- Quotes may expire, and FX rates may change before confirmation if a quote has expired.
Funding methods
- Supported funding methods may include debit card, bank account funding through Stripe ACH for supported US bank accounts, and crypto or stablecoin funding where available.
- EziMoney does not collect raw bank account details for Stripe ACH; Stripe handles tokenization.
- Funding may be delayed, failed, reversed, or cancelled by a provider.
Fees and exchange rates
Fees and exchange rates are shown before confirmation and may vary by funding source, payout method, corridor, and provider.
Transfer processing and delivery
Delivery times are estimates. Transfers may be delayed for compliance, provider, bank, network, or recipient reasons.
Cancellations
Cancellation availability depends on transfer state. If funding has not been received, you may be able to cancel the funding session. If funds have been received but the recipient has not been paid, you may be able to cancel payout progression and request a refund. If payout has already been submitted to an external rail, cancellation may not be guaranteed.
Refunds
- Refunds usually return through the original funding method or an approved refund route.
- Refund timing depends on the provider and rail.
- Refunds may require manual review.
- Fee refundability is a legal and product-policy item that must be finalised before production launch.
Prohibited use
- Fraud, sanctions evasion, money laundering, or other illegal activity.
- Payments for illegal goods or services.
- Abuse of chargebacks, refunds, or support processes.
- Using another person’s payment method without permission.
Stablecoin and crypto-specific risks
Where crypto or stablecoin funding is available, blockchain transactions may be irreversible, network fees and congestion may apply, wrong wallet addresses can cause loss, stablecoins may have issuer or platform risks, and only supported assets and networks should be used.
Account suspension or restriction
EziMoney may suspend or restrict access for fraud, compliance, security, operational, or misuse concerns.
Error resolution and complaints
Report transfer errors through /support/new or /complaints and include transfer, funding, refund, or support-case reference numbers where available.
Privacy
Review the Privacy Policy at /privacy for information about data handling.
Limitation of liability
Draft limitation-of-liability wording must be completed by qualified legal counsel before production use.
Changes to terms
EziMoney may update these terms and should notify users as required. Continued use may mean acceptance where legally permitted.
Governing law
To be completed by legal counsel.
